Steven Marder

Steven Marder is a Managing Director within BTIG TMT Investment Banking. He has over 25 years of executive, advisory and investment experience in the global Technology, Media and Telecommunications (TMT) industries. Prior to BTIG, Mr. Marder served as an Operating Partner at Morgan Joseph TriArtisan. Previously, he was an Operating Partner at Avista Capital Partners, focused on the internet, digital media/entertainment and communications sectors. Mr. Marder served on the Board of Directors for Avista portfolio companies, WideOpenWest (NYSE: WOW) and InvestorPlace Media, and was Co-Founder, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Eurekster and PetPlanet.com. Earlier in his career, he held business and corporate development roles at EMI Music and Tribune Company. Mr. Marder is a member of The Recording Academy (Grammys), and a member of the State Bar of New York and California. He is also a Director and Co-Founder of SLI Systems (NZX: SLI), and a Director at Next Minute, Ltd. Mr. Marder holds a JD from St. Johns School of Law, and a BA in Political Science from Columbia University.
