BTIG Announces Expansion of Transition Management Group with Senior Hire – Daniel Howell Joins BTIG in New York
New York – December 15, 2015 – BTIG, LLC, a global financial services firm specializing in institutional trading, investment banking, research and related brokerage services, announced today that it has hired Daniel Howell to expand its Transition Management business. Based in New York, Mr. Howell joins the firm as a Director, and brings extensive experience to a growing team of seasoned Transition Management professionals.

Mr. Howell will focus on business development efforts within the Transition Management space. His client coverage areas will include public and private pensions, corporations, fund managers, Taft-Hartley plans, sovereign wealth funds, endowments and foundations of all sizes around the globe. Mr. Howell spent the last eight years in similar roles at BNY Mellon Asset Servicing and Citigroup Global Capital Markets. At BTIG, Mr. Howell will report to Thomas Smykowski. He joins a dynamic team of industry-veterans including Kenneth Temple, CFA, Director, and Adrienne Schaefer, Senior Vice President.
