BTIG Expands High Yield & Distressed Sales Team – Hires Robert Hannigan as a Director in High Yield Sales
New York – November 9, 2010 – BTIG, LLC, a broker dealer specializing in institutional trading and related brokerage services, today announced the continued expansion of its U.S. Fixed Income Sales and Trading platform with the addition of Robert Hannigan as a Director in High Yield & Distressed Sales.

Prior to joining BTIG, Hannigan was a Director at Knight Libertas. Hannigan started his career at DLJ in High Yield trading, followed by trading positions at UBS and JP Morgan. In 1997, he joined CRT, where he was Head of the Distressed Trading Desk. Hannigan graduated from Williams College with a BS in Economics and from Columbia Business School with a degree in Finance.
